Actually, the Egyptians here in Sharm El Sheikh insisted that the pyramids would be "very cold" at this time of year.

What we didn't realize at the time was that "cold" for an egyptian can be 80F, or more.

Low temps at this time of year are indeed in the mid-60s, so I was even wearing another layer in the early morning and late evening. (Remember that Cairo is at approximately the same latitude as Orlando, which can occasionally get to freezing).

Under the mid-day sun, however, it was not what any of us non-Africans would describe as anything but 'hot'...
